After graduating with a degree in Professional Writing from the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication, I began working at Local 12, WKRC in Cincinnati as a Digital Content Producer, where I have written over 3,000 stories for local and national audiences.
I specialized in crime and offbeat stories, syndicating information from a variety of primary and secondary sources to craft original and engaging stories. I excel at working under pressure and time constraints, as the news world demands.
Here are some of the highlights of my time in the industry.
As a lifelong fan of theme parks, I always have a blast deep-diving for these stories to give readers a comprehensive understanding of what to expect while still remaining lighthearted.
Many stories are harder to write than others, and this is a great example. A tough topic, a harrowing testimony, but a final result I’m happy to have been a part of.
